To tackle of getting driving licence forgetting and this issue government of India has an official app called mParivahan that allows people to carry the important documents like Registration Certificate (RC), driving license, etc right into their smartphones in the digital format. The app is available on both Android as well as iOS platform and can be download from the respective app stores for free. The virtual format of the documents are equally valid as the physical one and can be used to verify the necessary information related to the authenticity of the vehicle as well as permit to drive. To download the virtual driving license and RC, people will need the vehicle registration number as well as complete driving license number along with the date of birth. So, it is recommended to keep these details handy before proceeding with the steps. Get the app :- Go to Google Play Store or Apple App Store and search for the app ‘mParivahaan’. Click Install or Get button to start the downloading process. Get virtual RC :- Open the mParivahan app. Click the three horizontal bar from the top right corner. Tap on the sign in option and enter your phone number followed by the verification code received on the given phone number. Once done, tap on ‘RC’ tab from the homescreen of the app. Enter the vehicle number in the search field and search. The app will automatically retrieve all the data linked to the registration number Now, tap on the ‘Add to dashboard’ option to add to the account. Get virtual DL :- Click on ‘RC’ tab from the homescreen of the app. Search for the DL number in the search field. The app will automatically retrieve all the data linked to the DL. Now, tap on the ‘Add to dashboard’ option to add to the account.
