RTOseva4U informs general public that you can now provide Aadhaar as a proof of age and address while applying for a driving licence at any Regional Transport Office in the state. The transport department issued a circular on Thursday allowing Aadhaar as proof of age and address for new licences as well as for change in address in existing licence. the circular said it would be mandatory for all two wheelers manufactured after April 1st to have Anti Lock Braking System. Another circular sad car and bus makers had been directed to install vehicle Location tracking device and emergency buttons for all vehicles manufactured after April 1st and used as taxi services in the City.

BH Number - Many questions still to answer The government has introduced BH number series and vehicles have started getting registered since 2021 under this scheme. But after almost 1.5 years have passed a lot of confusion still remains with the executive RTOs /RTAs, to enumerate a few.. Can the owner of a BH number vehicle sell the vehicle to a person who doesn't have employment with an employee who has offices in 4 states? if yes, will the BH number continue and he have to pay tax every 2nd year as it was for the first buyer? or  if yes again, but BH will no longer continue and his vehicle will be registered as local state RTO series only like MH/ RJ/JK, etc...   In such a case will the new buyer will have to pay local road tax for the residual period, and how it will be calculated?
